SOLAR AMBASSADORS CONDUCT SCOUTS GO SOLAR TRAINING FOR MALAYSIAN SCOUT LEADERS
The PPM Scouts Go Solar Workshop was conducted at the Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Kampus Pulau Pinang in Penang, Malaysia on 23-26 March 2019. About 50 Scout Leaders, mostly national and regional commissioners, participated in the workshop to learn about the Scouts Go Solar Programme. The workshop trained local leaders about the programme, including the practical applications of solar activities that could be done during Scout activities. It raised awareness about climate change and the sustainable solutions that could be carried out by Scouts, suitable for their age through learning-by-doing activities on renewable energy technology and solar energy.
